Over 2,000 new COVID-19 cases

Malaysia reported 2,062 new COVID-19 cases today.
Selangor recorded the highest tally with almost half of the new cases, followed by 504 in KL and Sabah 252.
The Health Ministry also detected 8 new clusters.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 439 after 1 more patient died due to the virus.

International students allowed to enter Malaysia
Starting next month, international students will be allowed to enter Malaysia for the 2021 term.
The Defence Minister says however, those from the UK will not be allowed to return due to the COVID-19 situation there.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob adds that both existing and new students will be allowed to return, provided they have their living accommodations sorted.
Additionally, Datuk Seri Ismail says they MUST undergo COVID-19 testing three days before leaving for Malaysia.

Christmas is coming to town
Good news for those celebrating Christmas in the Federal Territory.
This as activities at non-Muslim houses of worship will be allowed to take place, provided they follow COVID-19 SOPs.
KL authorities say this includes limiting the number of attendees depending on the size of the respective premises.
