Immigration officials nabbed over passport ruse

Four Selangor Immigration Dept officials have been arrested by the MACC for allegedly falsifying the payment details of passport applications. 

According to reports, the suspects would charge the normal 200 ringgit for passport applications. 

However, they would then manipulate the system, so that the applications appear to be from a disabled applicant. 

Disabled people are entitled to the documents for free, so the suspects would then pocket the money.
