Floods displace 6,000 in various states

Some 6 thousand people are currently housed at flood evacuation centres in various states nationwide.

Kelantan has the most evacuees, with 3 thousand in the districts of Kota Bahru, Kuala Krai, Pasir Mas and Pasir Puteh.

Over in Johor, 1,900 people are currently displaced in Batu Pahat, JB, Kluang, Kota Tinggi, Muar and Segamat.

Meanwhile, 800 people are still seeking shelter in Sabah, Perak has 420 evacuees, and Selangor has 148.

But there's good news in Terengganu as all remaining evacuees there have returned home.
