Owner of ill-fated catamaran claims trial

The owner of the catamaran that capsized in Sabah waters late last month has claimed trial to causing death by negligence. 

He faces a maximum penalty of 6 months jail and a 2 thousand ringgit fine if he's found guilty. 

This comes days after the boat's skipper was jailed for six months for overloading the vessel.

3 people died in tragedy, 5 are still missing, while 23 Chinese tourists were rescued.
