100 human trafficking cases were convicted in court last year, compared to only 7 in 2015.

Meanwhile, 13 convictions of human trafficking cases were recorded up til the end of this March.

The government has also agreed to collaborate with qualified NGOs to handle shelters for human trafficking victims from this month.
