Education Ministry: all religious schools must comply with the disciplinary guidelines set by the Ministry.

The Education Ministry says all religious schools must comply with the disciplinary guidelines set by the Ministry. 

It adds that these schools will also have to register with JAKIM in the near future. 

This, following an incident where an 11 year old student of a private religious school in Kota Tinggi died, after being allegedly abused by an assistant warden. 

The post-mortem report on the boy, is expected to be ready in 2 weeks.
