A 25-year-old woman was accidentally stabbed during an argument with her teenaged boyfriend in Kedah on the weekend.
The duo got into a fight after the 16-year-old checked the victim's phone and found her talking with another man.
The woman alleges she was hit by the suspect and so grabbed a kitchen knife for protection, but ended up stabbing herself instead.
The teenager was arrested and remanded, while the woman has been discharged from hospital.
