5 districts in Selangor have been identified as at risk of being affected by the high tide phenomenon, which begins today.

As such, residents in Klang, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Kuala Selangor and Sabak Bernam have been advised to be prepared and listen to advice from the authorities.

Waves along the coast are expected to be the highest in October and November, with a forecast reading of about 5.5 metres.

Evacuation centres have already been set up, just in case.
