The M'sian Civil Defence Academy is offering emergency response training to tahfiz centres nationwide.

Students and tahfiz centre management personnel will be taught how to exit a building, put out a fire and initial emergency treatment.

Religious schools can get the training at the Academy's training centre in Bangi, or request for them to head to the school.

This comes after 23 people died in a recent arson attack at a tahfiz school in KL.
