Credit and debit card users have been warned to carefully read and follow prompters while paying.

This comes as some F&B outlets are now prompting customers to pay a tip with their cards.

As such, the Association of Banks in M'sia says customers should check the screen to ensure the final amount displayed is correct, before keying in their pins.
