A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing Umno supreme council member Datuk Sohaimi Shahadan near his home in Sungai Buloh.

Sungai Buloh police say the unemployed man is believed to be mentally unstable.

According to the Star, Sohaimi sustained injuries on his shoulder and ear while one of his relatives suffered slash wounds on his face.
