The National Heart Institute will become the first hospital in Asia Pacific to conduct in-man trials of the world's smallest pacemaker.
TPS is as small as a pill capsule, which means it can be injected directly into the heart through a catheter, elimitating the need for painful major surgery.
IJN trialed the first generation of TPS back in 2015 - this is the second generation.
