In a landmark decision, KTMB has been fined 60,000 ringgit for failing to maintain its train tracks and coaches, causing a train derailment in 2014.
This is also the first time SPAD has taken a train operator to court.
One train coach derailed in Pahang 4 years ago, but no one was injured.
