Pakatan Harapan secretariat chief Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah wants the new government to review the current policy on overseas scholarships.
He says the government needs to decide whether to restore these scholarships, bearing in mind that we cannot afford to send ALL our best students overseas.
Opportunities for overseas scholarships were substantially cut back in 2016, due to a recallibration of the government's budget at that time.
