JPJ will be paying close attention to express bus drivers ahead of the Aidilfitri balik kampung rush.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke says he's directed the department to step up monitoring and enforcement against errant drivers, to help ensure passenger safety.

Loke says he doesnt want a repeat of previous issues, where blacklisted drivers were still allowed behind the wheel of express buses.
