New AG Tommy Thomas is humbled by his appointment.

New Attorney General Tommy Thomas is humbled by his appointment and said it's an awesome responsibility.

However, he won't be taking on the AG's role for a few days yet, until he receives his official appointment letter. 

Meanwhile, Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has assured Tommy's appointment will not affect the status of Islam as well as the special rights and privileges of Malays in the country.
