Former PM Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife are still in the country and did not violate their travel ban.

The Immigration director-general told Malay Mail the couple are merely on holiday with their family in Langkawi, and have not left the country.

Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali also dismissed claims Najib and his wife were trying to flee the country by running to Thailand through Langkawi.

Photos of the couple at the airport have gone viral.
