VX assassination: Msia will not share investigation details for now.

Malaysia will not share details on the investigation into the murder of a North Korean man, until the entire legal process is completed.

The DPM adds sharing of info will only be feasible if there was a formal request.

Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was responding to a suggestion from the UK to share info on the investigation, so the UN can prosecute North Korea for using a chemical weapon.

Meanwhile, the IGP has reiterated only the next of kin of the murdered North Korean man can claim his body.

This follows reports that a high-level delegation from North Korea has arrived in KL to discuss, among other issues, the return of the body of its citizen.

Also, the Health Ministry has confirmed the 2 suspects held for the North Korean's murder were not affected by the VX nerve agent.
