Govt mulls ceiling price for flight tix

A ceiling price for domestic flight tickets may be put in place soon.

The Msian Aviation Commission was asked to study the matter, following complaints that domestic flight tickets can surge to almost 5 times the normal amount during festive seasons. 

The Transport Ministry adds it will do what it can to manage prices, but says the public also has a part to play.

It explained, travellers need to plan their journeys, and not buy their tickets at the last minute.
