EPF building fire started from maintenance work

The fire that struck the EPF building on Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya this afternoon, reportedly started from maintenance work outside the first floor of the building.

The Fire and Rescue Department's Deputy Director Dato’ Soiman Jahid, also explained that today's weather could have also played a part in starting the blaze.

No casualties or injuries were reported, and EPF officials have assured the public that no information and documents were compromised or damaged.
