Agencies involved in the catamaran tragedy's search efforts to meet today

The agencies involved in the search and rescue operation for missing victims of the catamaran boat tragedy, will meet today to decide on the next course of action.

This, as the mission enters its 10th day today with only 1 body found, suspected to be 1 of the 6 missing victims.

The authorities have also found an orange life jacket believed to be from the capsized watercraft.

Meanwhile, the Social Welfare Department will channel immediate assistance and also provide counselling to the family of a local man reported missing in the catamaran tragedy.

The 26-year-old was a crew member on the boat which sank while traveling from Tanjung Aru to Pulau Mengalum.
