Police to investigate attack at Terengganu military camp

The Armed Forces is leaving it to the police to investigate the attack at a military camp in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu on Friday.

The Armed Forces says it was an ex-soldier who used a knife and tried to snatch a rifle from a soldier, so he is a civilian, which makes it a police case.

It adds that it's not sure of the motive for the attack, but says the suspect could have been under the influence of drugs or suffering a mental problem.
