Meriam-Webster adds more than 1,000 new words

Meriam-Webster has added more than 1,000 new words to its dictionary, including several tech terms and pop culture references.

Among the new words added include, face-palm, train wreck, shotgun, geek out and throw shade.

"Conlang" has also made it into the dictionary, meaning an invented language such as Elvish, Klingon and Dothraki.
