2 charged over botched New Year's fireworks incident

A Klang Municipal Council department director and another employee, have been charged over the botched fireworks incident on January 1st.

15 people were injured, after the fireworks exploded on the ground during a New Year's Eve event at the Pandamaran Sports Complex.

According to The Star, the two could be jailed up to six months or fined a thousand ringgit if convicted.
