IGP asks not to give too much publicity to kidnapping cases

The IGP is calling on the media, NGOs and members of the public not to give too much publicity to kidnapping cases. 

Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar says the intense publicity on the recent abduction of pastor Raymond Koh, is one of the reasons the cops have failed to get any new leads into the case.

He adds that the constant publicity and speculation can also endanger the life of the victim.
