Immigration officials conduct random checks at Sabah airports

Immigration officials have started conducting random checks at airports in Sabah, on people travelling to the Peninsular. 

The Deputy Prime Minister issued the order to ensure no one flies over using fake identity cards.

This follows claims that a suspected militant has been found living in the Peninsular using a fake identity card obtained from Sabah.
