Worker died in Jalan Cochrane construction site mishap

A Bangladeshi worker died after a structure at a construction site in Jalan Cochrane, KL collapsed during rush hour yesterday evening.

The site belongs to TNB and the company believes the floor scaffolding on the 3rd storey collapsed during the pouring of concrete.

MRT has rubbished rumours that the tragedy was linked to construction at the Cochrane MRT station.

It says the station was completed and opened to the public last July.
