Celebrities invited to Economic Planning Unit briefing

Minister in the PM's Department Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan has invited local celebrities to attend the Economic Planning Unit's briefing on the state of the Malaysian economy.

This is apparently to help them understand what the government has been doing to ensure a robust economy.

The invitation comes after several celebrities, including singer Datuk Sheila Majid, recently tweeted about the rising cost of living.
