Datuk Seri Mohamad Shafie Apdal remanded

Parti Warisan Sabah President Datuk Seri Mohamad Shafie Apdal has been remanded for four days.
He was arrested by the MACC yesterday, after giving his statement as part of a probe into the alleged skimming of federal funds meant for development projects in Sabah.
The former Rural and Regional Development Minister is the 10th person to be detained as part of the investigation, with two of his younger brothers among those arrested earlier.
The MACC is also expected to make more arrests as it continues to probe the alleged siphoning of some 1.5 billion ringgit.
