Para-cyclist needs further check up after hit and run accident

The National Sports Council has confirmed that a para-cyclist involved in a hit and run accident earlier today will need further check up.

He's feared to have suffered internal neck injuries, after being hit by a pick up truck in the incident, which occured during training.

A tandem pilot cyclist has also been confirmed to have suffered a broken leg, while another 3 members of the cycling squad involved in the accident are expected to be discharged from hospital today.
