3 remanded over false claims amounting to 23 million ringgit

Three individuals, including an oil and gas company manager have been remanded for six days, to assist investigations into false claims amounting to 23 million ringgit for a project in Sarawak in 2015.

The three had been detained by the MACC yesterday.

The suspects are believed to have filed a false claim through three contract invoices, with no work done despite payment being made.
