Jackie Wong breaks records in hammer throw

Jackie Wong has broken the national record and the SEA Games record in the hammer throw event.

He won the gold, after recording a throw of 65.9 meters.

In other athletics events, Khairul Hafiz Jantan has progressed to the men's 200 meter final, along with G. Aravinn Thevarr, while Zaidatul Husniah has progressed to the final in the women's event.

Both the men's and women's finals will be taking place tonight at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
