Deputy Prime Minister hold meeting to announce next IGP

The Deputy Prime MInister will be meeting with the PDRM top brass soon, to pick a successor to IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
The selected candidate will be presented to the Yang DiPertuan Agong for his majesty's consent on September 4th, before the appointment is officially announced.
Tan Sri Khalid will be retiring next month, after over 40 years on the force.
