Fires in Indonesia could lead to haze in Malaysia

The Department of Environment says ongoing forest fires in Indonesia could possible lead to haze in Malaysia, particularly for states north of the Peninsular.

However, air quality here is showing no signs of deterioration just yet, remaining between good and moderate levels. 

The Department, however, is urging people to avoid open burning, due to the current hot and dry spell.
