Physical abilities test to be made mandatory

Police will have to pass a physical abilities test, in order to get promoted or confirmed. 

PDRM will make the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation mandatory, starting next year. 

The Kedah police chief says this is to ensure that all policemen are fit for duty, and to maintain the good image of the police force.

The test will replace the current National Physical Fitness Test.
