All 36 people on Penang Hill rescued

All 36 people who were stranded on Penang Hill because of landslides, have been finally been rescued.

One of the victim shared her experience with us having been stranded up there for hours.

"we were stranded there with very little clothing...we only took clothes for one night. After that we managed to get some contacts...they managed to get help, so they sent up professional hikers to help us down. So the younger and stronger people went down hiking, the rest of us waited for the helicopter to help us out"

They were brought down by a Fire and Rescue Department helicopter, and are currently seeking medical attention.
