Exercise clinics to be set up in every district in Malaysia

The Health Ministry wants exercise clinics to be set up in every district in Malaysia, to help reduce the risk of getting Non-Communicable Diseases or NCDs.
It says this is important, as an estimated 70 percent of deaths in government hospitals nationwide, are due to NCDs.
It adds that exercise therapy through the clinics has the potential of treateing and preventing NCDs, especially hypertension, diabetes and obesity.
