Pakatan Harapan Cabinet unveiled

Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has unveiled a 14-member initial Cabinet, following approval by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

And in line with the Pakatan Harapan manifesto, the Prime Minister has also decided to give up the Education portfolio.

Simpang Renggam MP, Dr Maszlee Malik will now serve as Education Minister.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Azmin Ali is expected to meet the Prime Minister today to get clarification on his appointment as Economic Affairs Minister, amid questions about his position as Menteri Besar.

The rest of the line-up comprises of...

Titiwangsa MP, Rina Harun as Rural Development Minister.

Ampang MP, Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin as Housing and Local Government Minister.

The Transport portfolio will be assumed by Seremban MP, Anthony Loke.

Puchong MP, Gobind Singh Deo as Communications and Multimedia Minister.

Pulai MP, Salahuddin Ayub as Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister.

Ipoh Barat MP, M. Kulasegaran as Human Resourses minister.

And finally, Kuala Selangor MP, Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad will serve as Health Minister.

Malaysia's new Cabinet is due to be sworn in on Monday morning.
