GST to be brought down to 0%

The government will reduce the GST rate to 0%, starting June 1st.
The Finance Ministry says the reduction of the rate from 6% currently, will be implemented nationwide from next month until further notice.
But at the same time, the Ministry says all registered businesses are still subjected to all current regulations.
It also reminded traders that they must ensure that their prices comply with the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act.
