11 Uighurs charged with entering Malaysia illegally

11 Muslim Uighurs, who escaped from an immigration detention centre in Thailand, have been charged with entering Malaysia illegally, at the KL Magistrate's Court.
The suspects are among 20 Uighur men who escaped from the centre near the border in November.
The Uighurs are an ethnic group that originate from Northwest China, where there have been reports of civil unrest.
