News Wrap-up: Stop Spreading Rumours About Unrest

Nov 30, 2018

Stop Spreading Rumours

There is no security threat in Subang Jaya.

Police said this in response to viral rumours that the area has become dangerous following the Seafield Sri Marimamman Temple riots.

The cops have also asked for Malaysians to stop sharing the fake news.

Fireman Showing Signs Of Improvement

Meanwhile, the fireman who was critically injured in the temple riots is showing signs of waking up.

The National Heart Institute said Muhammad Adib is responding to some verbal commands, but he's still being kept highly sedated to allow his organs to recover.

The 24-year-old is currently in a medically-induced coma after being injured by some of the rioters.
