Dec 18, 2018

Firefighter Succumbs To Injuries

Malaysians have been urged to unite and stay calm following the death of firefighter Mohd Adib.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said it's important for all Malaysians to stand together in solidarity against the criminal act that led to Adib's death.

He was injured in the Seafield temple riots three weeks ago.

Housing and Local Goverment Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin adds that Adib's family were warned of his deteriorating condition yesterday morning and got to spend time with him before he passed away.

He will be laid to rest in Kedah today, while his case has been re-classified as murder.
