MRT robbery suspect remanded

The suspect behind last week's violent robbery at an MRT station been remanded for a week.
He was arrested by police last night, at a house in Taman Cheras.
In the Valentine's Day incident, the suspect was seen punching and kicking a woman inside an elevator at the station.
He then robbed her of her ID, bank cards and around 400 ringgit cash.
The victim suffered multiple injuries in the assault.
