Bersih calls for better education on overseas voting

Global Bersih has called for a longer campaign period, urging the Election Commission to reform the overseas voting system.

After reviewing obstacles encountered in GE14, Global Bersih says there's a lack of information for overseas voters on how to vote.

It wants the campaign period to be extended, to establish a uniform overseas voting process, as well as to ensure continuity and avoid confusion.

It has also proposed for a centralised office at the EC, to handle all matters related to overseas voting, as well as to communicate with Malaysians living abroad on the voting process.
