More schools to be closed tomorrow due to haze

Sep 18, 2019

Several schools will be closed tomorrow as the haze situation worsens.

Nearly 120 schools in Kedah and all schools in Penang, Putrajaya and Taiping in Perak will be closed for a day tomorrow.

All schools in Selangor, will remain shut for the rest of the week.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says there's no need to order all schools nationwide to be closed.

At last look, 9 areas in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah and Sarawak posted 'very unhealhty' API readings of over 200.

37 other areas nationwide had unhealhty air quality.

It also found that our phones' battery icons affect also affects mood - with a full battery gauge making people feel positive when they travel or commute.

However, a battery indicator that's at less than 50 percent will cause feelings of anxiety and discomfort.
