Are you or your family eligible for the targeted fuel subsidy?

The government could revise the Targeted Petrol Subsidy, or PSP, if oil prices exceed RM3 per liter. 

However, the Finance Minister said based on current projections, it's highly unlikely for oil prices to exceed that mark. 

Lim Guan Eng adds, the PSP for the M40 group might only start next March, as the government is still trying to finalise the mechanism.

If you're in the B40 group, you can start checking your status on the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry's website.

If you're a Bantuan Sara Hidup recipient, but your name is not on the subsidy list, you can also appeal online.

Selangor, brace for floods!

Flooding is expected in nine districts of Selangor from this month to December, because of the Northeast Monsoon. 

The areas at risk includes Petaling, Hulu Langat, Klang and Kuala Selangor. 

The Selangor government has already ordered all relevant authorities to make preparations.

Siti Hasmah reveals she had breast surgery earlier this year

Tun Dr Siti Hasmah underwent surgery in March to remove a lump from her breast.

The Prime Minister's 93-year-old wife revealed her ordeal at a Breast Cancer Awareness event yesterday, and urged all women get checked for breast cancer, regardless of age.
