Msia's COVID-19 Situation Still Under Control

New Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba says the COVID-19 situation in Malaysia is still under control.
This is despite the emergence of another cluster of cases, linked to a religious gathering at a mosque in Sri Petaling, KL.
Dr Adham has also called on those who attended the gathering to get themselves tested for the virus.
Meanwhile, the mosque will be temporarily closed to be disinfected.
11-year-old dies from Influenza not COVID-19

The Sarawak Health Department says the 11-year-old who died in hospital, had succumbed to severe influenza and not the coronavirus.
It says two separate tests were done, and both came back negative for COVID-19.
Severe influenza symptoms such as high temperature, breathing difficulties and coughing are similar to the coronavirus.
1MDB trial postponed due to COVID-19
Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's 1MDB trial has been postponed, after his defence team came in close contact with a suspected COVID-19 case.
The defence team has been asked to submit the necessary documents by tomorrow, to confirm whether they need to be quarantined or not.
Najib is facing 25 charges of graft and money laundering linked to the 1MDB scandal.
