Malaysia reports 23 total COVID-19 deaths

Four more COVID-19 fatalities have been reported, raising Malaysia’s death toll to 23.
The Health Director General adds that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases is now at 2,031, after 235 new cases were detected today.
Of the new cases, 60 are linked to the Sri Petaling mosque cluster.
45 patients are currently in ICU, with 30 needing breathing assistance.
So far, 215 patients have fully recovered, after 16 more were discharged from hospital.
Stricter rules to be imposed during MCO's second phase
The National Security Council is set to introduce a new SOP focused on tightening enforcement during the second phase of the Movement Control Order, or MCO.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the new SOP will be announced soon.
Cabinet members to donate salary cuts to COVID-19 fund

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, along with all federal ministers and their deputies have agreed to take a 2-month salary cut, to be donated to the government’s COVID-19 fund.
In a statement, the PM’s office says the fund has so far collected over RM8.4 million
The COVID-19 fund was set up earlier this month, to help those affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
