8th EMCO implemented at Jalan Othman Market, PJ, Selangor.

An Enhanced Movement Control Order, or EMCO has been put in place in several areas surrounding the Jalan Othman Market in PJ, Selangor.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says this is after 26 COVID-19 cases were detected in the area.
The EMCO will be implemented for two weeks starting today until May 23rd.
New COVID-19 infection cluster emerges in Setia Alam construction site
A new COVID-19 infection cluster has emerged at a construction site in Setia Alam involving foreign workers.
The Health Director General says so far 12 Bangladeshi workers tested positive for COVID-19, and that the source of the infection is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s total number of coronavirus cases rose to 6,589 yesterday, of which only 1,500-plus are active cases.
Businesses to resume as usual in Sabah
Almost all sectors and businesses in Sabah have been allowed to re-operate.
Its Chief Minister says this includes allowing customers to dine-in at food outlets.
However, he adds all sectors must comply with the SOP set by the Health Ministry.
