Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah is targeting to lower the number of cases to double-digits by mid-May provided SOPs are strictly followed.
The Health Director General also does not expect the MCO to extend beyond February 4th, but it will be followed by 3 months of a Conditional MCO.
The proclamation of emergency to fight Covid-19 has been helpful to the Health Ministry in several ways.
The Ministry says this includes allowing the government to relocate doctors and loan out medicine to different facilities as needed.
Almost 60 students in Sabah sitting for public exams have tested positive for Covid-19 so far, during a screening carried out prior to returning to school.
